Phan Thiet–Phu Quy Ferry: Booking and Port Guide
Prepare for the Phan Thiet–Phu Quy ferry: booking checks, getting to the port and confirming the latest sailing information.

The ferry is what sets the pace of a Phu Quy trip. Sailing times, seats and ticket-change terms depend on the carrier and travel date, so use the operator’s official sales channel instead of an old timetable image shared online.

Superdong’s schedule page says departure times may change with tides and weather. Recheck close to travel and leave a buffer for onward transport in Phan Thiet.

1. Book and check the conditions

Select the correct direction, dates and passenger count. Check names, travel documents, baggage, refund or change rules and how schedule updates are sent. If you plan to bring a motorbike or bulky luggage, ask the carrier first; a passenger ticket may not include a vehicle.

Book once your dates are firm, pay only through an official channel and keep the booking reference. Superdong’s booking system publishes its terms; other carriers may have different rules.

2. Getting to Phan Thiet Port

Allow time from your accommodation, with a margin for traffic and check-in. Confirm the port address shown on your ticket, the required arrival time and where to check in. If travelling with children, older adults or several bags, agree on a drop-off point in advance.

Avoid connecting a coach that is due in Phan Thiet just before sailing. A road delay can make you miss the boat, and a replacement sailing may not be available that day.

3. On departure day

  • Reopen the schedule and carrier messages before leaving.
  • Bring the documents used for the booking and keep the e-ticket accessible.
  • Confirm baggage, motorbike, assembly point and boarding procedures with the carrier.
  • If you are prone to motion sickness, ask a pharmacist or clinician how to prepare.

A timetable does not replace instructions from the carrier at the port. Follow direct guidance if a sailing changes and keep any related receipts or notices.

4. After arrival

Arrange island transport and check-in time in advance; do not assume a rental vehicle will wait if the boat is late. On the return, leave a generous gap before your next coach or train. See our guide to rough seas and ferry changes and the two- or three-day itinerary.
