Cao Cat and Linh Son Pagoda on Phu Quy: Visitor Guide

🏝️ Part of the Phu Quy travel guide · Updated 15 October 2026.

Cao Cat and Linh Son Pagoda are often combined in one visit, bringing together a landscape stop and a religious site. Check access, opening times and local rules before setting out; older photos may not reflect current paths or conditions.

This is a place of worship still used by local residents, so visits should be quiet and respectful.

1. Plan the route

Choose transport for your group and ask your accommodation about the road, parking, walking sections and current access. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water and sun protection. Do not climb on rock surfaces where signs prohibit it or when it is raining.

Do not assume every photo spot is open to visitors. Follow barriers, signs and directions from site staff.

2. At Linh Son Pagoda

Dress modestly, speak quietly, do not touch religious objects and ask before taking photographs indoors. If a ceremony is underway, give worshippers space. Do not fly a drone in a sensitive area or without permission.

3. Timing and itinerary

A morning visit or a cooler part of the day may be more comfortable, but check the forecast and actual opening hours. Do not schedule the stop too close to your ferry or a prepaid activity; allow time for the road and a rest.

Fit the visit around your accommodation location. See our two- or three-day itinerary.
