Pick the wrong spot inside NovaWorld and you pay for it on foot
The resort stretches over 7 km of coastline. From the golf hill area to Bikini Beach is 3–4 km — too far to walk, and waiting for the shuttle each time eats up time too. Get it right and everything is within walking distance. We operate villas here, so we know exactly what guests regret after their trip.
Three types of stay, three types of trip
A hotel room inside the resort
Breakfast, daily housekeeping, a shared pool. A good fit for a small group or anyone who wants to skip the logistics. The trade-off: one key per room, and a large group ends up spread across multiple floors.
Rent the entire villa
A kitchen, a shared living room, a private yard. From four people up, splitting the cost per person is usually cheaper than the equivalent number of hotel rooms. Everyone stays together, and there's a place to sit around together in the evening.
Stay right by Bikini Beach
The cluster closest to the beach and the amusement parks. You can walk there — no dependence on the shuttle. A good fit for groups with young kids, who can nap at midday and head straight back out without much effort.
Compare by group size — this decides more than anything else
| Group | Best choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 2 people | A resort room | Renting a whole villa for two people is more room than you need and doesn't save any money. |
| 4 people | A villa or 2 resort rooms | This is the break-even point. Want a kitchen and to stay together — go villa. Want breakfast and daily housekeeping — go resort. |
| 6–8 people | A whole villa | A 4-bedroom villa sleeps up to 8 guests. In our current inventory, 11 of 18 units are this size. |
| Over 10 people | Several villas in the same cluster | Book early so the units sit close together — book late and the group ends up spread out, losing time to regrouping before every activity. |
| Corporate groups | Count by team, not by headcount | Four teams of eight people means four villas. A team staying in one house makes team meetings and regrouping much faster. |
What guests often forget to ask: whether there's a ground-floor bedroom. Every group has someone who has trouble with stairs — older parents, someone recovering from surgery, a pregnant guest. Know it ahead of time and you can plan around it; find out at check-in and you can't. Just ask directly when booking.
What's close to what
The resort is divided into several clusters, and the distance between them is significant. A few reference points:
- The cluster near Bikini Beach. Walk to the sea, the water park, and the amusement parks. The best fit if your group has kids — nap at midday and head back out in the afternoon with no hassle.
- The central cluster. A balance: not right on the beach, but everywhere is a reasonably short shuttle ride away.
- The cluster near the golf hills. The quietest, with the best views, but 3–4 km from Bikini Beach. A good fit for a genuine rest trip rather than a packed itinerary.
- Wonder Hill sits right along the coastal road, just a few minutes by shuttle from most clusters — so it's not really a factor in choosing where to stay.
The internal shuttle — something that affects the whole trip
A shuttle service connects the residential clusters to the amusement parks inside the resort. It's your main way of getting around if you're not staying right next to what you plan to do, and there are three things worth knowing:
There's a last run of the night
Stay out late and miss the last shuttle, and you're walking or calling a ride. Ask about the last run on the day you check in — don't leave it until you're actually out late.
Peak hours mean waiting
Weekends, mornings, and late afternoons are the busiest times. Traveling with young kids and having to wait for two shuttles can wreck the whole outing.
Stay close and you won't need it
This is the main reason to pick a cluster near wherever you plan to spend the most time. Not depending on the shuttle means you control your own schedule all day.
Four things to ask before you book
- Which cluster, and how far from Bikini Beach. The single most important question, and the one people ask the least.
- Is there a ground-floor bedroom. If your group includes older relatives.
- Check-in and check-out times. A midday check-out means the last day is nearly a write-off — know this in advance so you can plan around it.
- Is the kitchen fully equipped. If you plan to cook. Some units come with a full set of pots and pans, others just a stove and fridge.
Is a villa or a resort room a better fit?
From four people up, a whole villa split per person is usually cheaper than the equivalent number of resort rooms, plus you get a kitchen and a shared living space. Under four people, or if you want daily breakfast and housekeeping, a resort room is more convenient.
How many people does one villa sleep?
Our current inventory sleeps anywhere from 2 to 8 guests. The 4-bedroom type — 11 of the 18 units currently for rent — sleeps up to 8 people.
Which cluster should I stay in?
Depends on where your group plans to spend the most time. With young kids, choose the cluster near Bikini Beach so you can walk there. For a quieter stay, the cluster near the golf hills works, but accept that it's 3–4 km from the amusement parks.
How far ahead should a large group book?
For weekends and holidays, book at least a few weeks ahead so your units end up in the same cluster. Book close to the date and you'll often be split across several locations.
Do I need my own vehicle?
Not if you're only staying inside the resort — the internal shuttle covers that. If you want to head out to a fishing village for seafood or down to Ke Ga, you'll need transport.
