5:30 – 8:00am

Boats come ashore around this time and the market sets up right on the sand. This is the cheapest time of day to buy seafood. Arrive after 9am and all that's left is the drying nets.

Four things worth knowing ahead of time

Eateries outside the gate close early. Stay out late and go looking for food afterward, and you'll usually end up heading back inside the resort. Plan dinner from the afternoon.
Bring cash. Most local eateries and the fish market don't take card or transfer.
Book a table on weekends. A group of six or more showing up on a weekend evening without a reservation often means a wait.
