Park tickets aren't the biggest expense on the trip — but they're the easiest to overspend on
We operate rental villas inside NovaWorld and see a few groups head to the parks every week. The same thing happens over and over: guests buy a combo for three or four parks and only make it to two, and the rest is money spent for nothing. This guide works backwards — figure out how many parks you can realistically fit into a day first, then pick your tickets.
How many parks can you actually fit into one day?
This is the question to answer before you even look at prices. The times below are what we've recorded from guests who actually stayed with us, not marketing numbers:
| Park | Time needed | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Wonderland Water Park | Half day to full day | Inside the Bikini Beach area |
| Dino Park | 2–3 hours | Inside the NovaWorld complex |
| Circus Land | 1.5–2 hours | Bikini Beach, right by the sand |
| Wonder Hill — Wonder Bridge | 1–2 hours | 194A Lac Long Quan, Tien Thanh |
| Wonder Hill — Noah's Ark | 1–2 hours | Same grounds as Wonder Hill |
Add it up and it's clear: you can fit two parks into a day, three at most if all three are short ones. The water park alone takes half a day to a full day — pairing it with two other parks on the same day is a plan on paper, not one you can actually pull off.
Wonder Bridge and Noah's Ark specifically share the same Wonder Hill entry ticket and sit on the same grounds, so count them as one stop, not two.
Single ticket prices and the three combo packages
Reference prices for 2026 across ticket sales channels. The "promo" column is what you typically see with advance or online booking.
| Ticket / package | List price | Promo price | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wonder Hill entry ticket | 125,000 VND | 110,000 VND | Wonder Bridge + Noah's Ark |
| Wonder Museum Park | 90,000 VND | — | Art museum |
| Combo 1 — two dry parks | 230,000 VND | 200,000 VND | 30,000 VND cheaper than buying separately |
| Combo 2 — water park + one dry park | 460,000 VND | 430,000 VND | 30,000 VND cheaper than buying separately |
| Combo 3 — Tropicana + Wonder Museum | 225,000 VND | 170,000 VND | 55,000 VND cheaper than buying separately |
The three trip types we see the most
Built from real bookings, with the tickets that went along with them. Room rates use the mid-range price across our available units, not the lowest rate for effect.
A family of 2 adults + 2 kids, 2 weekend nights
The most common booking type. Day one goes entirely to the water park, day two is Wonder Hill in the late afternoon followed by dinner in the night market.
Tickets: Combo 2 for day one, a single Wonder Hill ticket for day two. Kids under 1.00m are free.
Room: a 4-bedroom villa, mid-range weekend rate around 4.5 million VND/night — split four ways, the per-person cost undercuts two rooms at a comparable hotel.
A group of 6–8 friends, 2 nights
This group packs more into each day but is also the most likely to overbuy, since everyone wants to add one more park.
Tickets: Combo 1, then single tickets for whichever park you want to add. Ask about group rates for parties of 10 or more.
Room: a 4-bedroom villa sleeping up to 8 — in our current inventory, 11 of 18 rental units are 4-bedroom.
Traveling with older parents, 1–2 nights
Skip the water park and the thrill rides entirely — a combo here is almost always more than you need.
Tickets: just a single Wonder Hill ticket at 110,000 VND. Easy walking, plenty of seating, third-floor cafe with a sea view.
Room: pick a unit with a ground-floor bedroom. Ask before you book — we know which villas have one.
Four places guests commonly overpay
- Buying a combo and not using all of it. A combo is only cheaper if you actually visit every park included. Use two out of four and the leftover is money wasted — often more than what you'd have paid buying single tickets for just the parks you visited.
- Pairing the water park with two other parks on the same day. Sounds reasonable on paper. In practice, you leave the water park in the early afternoon, tired, hair still wet — the second park gets a rushed, half-hearted visit.
- Forgetting kids' ID. If the sales channel prices by age, you'll need a birth certificate or passport. Plenty of families forget and end up buying a full adult ticket for a six-year-old at the counter.
- Not adding up the extras. Floats, lockers, and towels at the water park are usually charged separately. The Safari Cafe ticket also falls outside all three combo packages.
Kids: measure height before you budget
Two thresholds matter: under 1.00m is free, and 1.00m to 1.40m gets a discount. The exact discount varies by park and by period.
Where this gets confusing is that each sales channel uses a different method — some by height, some by age. Height-based pricing is measured on the spot, fast and clear, but a tall kid ends up paying the adult rate. Age-based pricing is fairer but requires ID. Simplest approach: ask the sales channel which method they use ahead of time, and if it's age-based, bring the birth certificate along — it's light to carry and can save the family a few hundred thousand dong.
About the price figures in this article
Published sources for the Wonder Hill ticket don't agree: the table above lists 125,000 VND list price and 110,000 VND promo, while some sources put it at roughly 120,000–200,000 VND. That's because the price shifts by period and by sales channel — the ticket counter, online, and agencies all differ.
We've kept that range rather than picking one number for tidiness. Use the table to plan your budget, then confirm the exact price on the day you go.
Traveling June through August
This is seaweed season, when it washes ashore and swimming isn't ideal. Amenities inside the resort — the water park, the theme parks, the pool — aren't affected, so you just need to shift your focus, not your dates.
Which combo saves the most?
Combo 3 (Tropicana Park + Wonder Museum Park): 170,000 VND versus a 225,000 VND list price, saving 55,000 VND. Combos 1 and 2 each save 30,000 VND. But the biggest saving is only worth it if you actually visit both parks included.
How many parks can I visit in one day?
Two is the realistic number. Three only works if all three are short — for example Circus Land at 1.5–2 hours, Wonder Hill at 1–2 hours, plus one more small stop. If the water park is on the schedule, count that day as one park only.
Are kids free?
Kids under 1.00m are free; 1.00m to 1.40m get a discount, with the exact rate depending on the park and the period. Confirm at the counter or with the sales channel before budgeting.
Is the Safari Cafe ticket included in any combo?
No. The Safari Cafe ticket is priced separately, outside all three park combo packages. Budget for it separately if you plan to visit.
Is a villa or a hotel better for a multi-day park trip?
Depends on group size. From four people up, a whole villa split among the group is usually cheaper than the equivalent number of hotel rooms, and comes with a kitchen — cooking breakfast at home saves both time and money on a day spent at the parks. Under four people, a hotel is more convenient.
