Before setting out

Fairy Stream is a shallow stream walk in the Ham Tien area. Check the entrance and current access locally, and allow time to turn back if water or weather conditions change. The archival photograph above was taken in 2008 and may not show today's path or water level.

What to bring

Wear footwear that can get wet or be carried securely, bring drinking water and sun protection, and keep valuables in a dry bag. The stream bed can be uneven or slippery; walk slowly and use a shorter route if you are unsure of your footing. Do not assume the route is suitable for every visitor or every weather condition.

Respect the place
